Your Ionian yacht charter holiday begins on stunning Kefalonia. We organise your taxi transfer to the yacht and meet you on board to help you settle in. A thorough briefing/handover is followed by a demonstration covering all aspects of your sailing yacht, particularly safety.

Legal Requirements for Bareboat Yacht Charter

For bareboat sailing yacht charters, Greek law requires that the yacht skipper has at least a RYA Day Skipper or International Certificate of Competence or national equivalent. The port police also recognise any official paper from a sailing school or other relevant organisation that has tested and can verify your sailing ability. Also, one crew member should have some previous sailing experience and be able to handle the yacht in case of emergency.
