In 1998 I came to Kefalonia to teach windsurfing but after falling in love with the island and the people I quickly developed a passion for yacht sailing and decided to stay. I completed my Yachtmaster and RYA yacht instructor’s certificate and gained several years’ invaluable experience teaching for a yachting holiday company before Ionian Blue Sailing was born in 2007.

Being a ‘small fish’ in a vast pond of commercially run yachting fleets, I was able to listen to my customers first-hand to find out what they were looking for from a sailing company:

A simple bespoke service, one port of call and the assurance of a dedicated contact to guide them through the whole chartering process from first enquiry to planning a perfect sailing itinerary in a top quality yacht.

Our small family team consists of my daughter Isabella, son Alex and me.
